Located adjacent to the Farmers Market and The Grove, this is the headquarters of CBS and was purpose-built in the early 1950s to produce TV shows. The facility opened in 1952.
The current studio complex was built in 1951 and designed by architects Pereira + Luckman, on the site of the former Gilmore Stadium. It cost $7 million and was officially opened on November 15, 1952.
