Dates: 1927 – present

Location: Agoura Hills, California (around 45 minutes from Los Angeles)

Open to hikers. There are no formal tours of the area.

Paramount Pictures began a long-term lease on the land in 1927. 

Western Town

Created in the 1950s.

November 2018 – The Western town sets, most recently used in HBO’s WestWorld, have been destroyed in the Woolsey fire which devastated the area. Rebuilding will take place during 2023 to be completed by 2024.
