Studio(s): Universal Studios Hollywood
To maximise revenue from this movie, Universal filmed two versions: English-language during the day, then overnight with a different cast, different crew but the same sets, props and costumes in Spanish.
In the days before 'talkies' it was simple to change the title cards between scenes to a different language and edit them into the silent footage. When synchronised sound came along, it became costly to produce international versions of movies.
