A total of 31 different sets were constructed for the movie on 8 different soundstages at Pinewood.

- London Underground crash (007 Stage) For this amazing stunt sequence, the crew built two full-size train carriages, each weighing seven tons. The sequence was too dangerous to allow people to stay on the stage for the crash scene, so ten remotely operated cameras were placed around the stage to ensure every angle was covered.
