Althought this is a Paramount Pictures release, a large part of the climactic battle in Mission City was shot on Universal's New York Street and masterfully intercut with location footage and digitally-generated cityscapes. You have to look hard to spot the New York Street buildings, but they're there. In the still shown on the right, the Ironhide robot and backgrounds to the right of him are digital creations, but the buildings on the left of the frame are on New York Street and can be seen in the third image at the bottom of this page. The 'Giants of the Machine Age' banner can be barely seen above the robot's right shoulder.
