Aerial Photos
The area around the front lot of Fox Studios has changed considerably over the years.
In the first photo, from 1937, the massive backlot area can be seen beyond the soundstages.
In the second photo, from 1976, Century City has replaced the oil wells in the previous photo, and West Olympic Blvd has divided off the former backlot and main studio sites.

Tank
This model-filming water tank & backdrop was used on a number of projects before it was removed as part of the backlot sale, and rebuilt at the Fox Ranch. At the ranch it was named Sersen Lake after water & model effect pioneer Fred Sersen.
